1. 01Pick ONE vertical (B2B SaaS / e-commerce / professional services). The 'AI agency for everyone' positioning loses every pitch to specialists.
2. 02Build a portfolio piece BEFORE you sell. Ship a free agent automation for a recognizable brand in your vertical. Post the result publicly on LinkedIn or X. That post becomes your only sales asset for the first 5 deals.
3. 03Charge in two tiers: $25-75K project (one-time agent buildout, 4-6 weeks) + $5-15K/mo retainer (maintenance, optimization, new features). Always upsell the retainer.
